Review Week

Below you will find the schedule for review. You can use the previous week's posts to help study for those skills and if you go to Study Island you can practice the specific skills.

Monday: Number Sense-Factors, Multiples, Divisibility, prime, composite, odd, and even
Tuesday: Fractions and Decimals (multiplying, dividing, adding/subtracting, comparing)
Wednesday: Area (Triangles, Circles, Parallelograms, and Composite Figures)
Thursday: Volume and Capacity and Converting Units
Friday: Graphing and Algebra

All about circles

New Unit

We have begun a new unit in math. The unit deals with 2-D shapes. This week we are working on congruence. Below you will find tutorials and practice sites on congruence:

Upcoming Week

Just a reminder that next week will be a little different. We will doing a fractions performance assessment on Wednesday and Thursday. This will assess the student's understanding on the following skills:

Comparing fractions
Adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators
Simplifying Fractions
Finding Equivalent Fractions
Modeling Multiplication and Division of Fractions
